Okie is a Registered American Quarter Large Pony gelding born in Murrieta, Oklahoma.   Earlier in his life he was a  Pony Club Pony and became a Hunter/Jumper show horse that won many awards and championships.   Okie has for the past six years been used as a therapy horse in addition to being a show horse because of his respectful attitude, kind and loving heart, and his soft nurturing temperament.  Therapy really seems to be his "calling" and he seems to just totally understand those clients, or horses, who suffer from codependency or anxiety.   Okie's favorite things besides being  a therapy horse, are hanging out with herd, being around children, jumping, and getting into good play time with Journey, Spirit, or Eli.
